Utah Documentary Association Work in Progress Screening: “The Last Chapter”

  • Salt Lake Community College Center For Arts & Media 1575 South State Street Salt Lake City, UT, 84115 United States (map)

Join us for our first ever Work-In-Progress screening. We'll be screening “The Last Chapter “the latest project from director Dain Percifield who's previous work includes “Running in Heels: The Glendon 'Anna Conda' Hyde Story.”

We'll screen the rough cut and provide valuable feedback to the filmmakers as they move ahead in this critical moment of their edit. This is a great opportunity to get more involved in the documentary community here in Utah, so we hope you'll join us.

Seating is limited so please reserve your seat now.

“The Last Chapter” is an inspiring, thought-provoking roadmap for aging...regardless of one’s age. The film features four LGBTQ+ seniors who are living their most fulfilling and happiest years yet.

But getting there wasn’t easy. The characters share their perspectives on trauma resolution, finding joy amidst life’s unforgiving setbacks, the impetus to give back and how we can find our way to finally feeling free and at peace.

For the increasing number of LGBTQ+ individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction and discrimination, the film offers sage advice from those who are living proof it not only gets better, but the golden years, in particular, can be absolutely glowing.
